Jersalem artichoke is a great choice for a native garden because of its large flowers. The plant grows to be 6-10ft tall, preferring full or part sun with average soils (sand and loam soils). The large yellow flowers bloom July-Aug, attracting butterflies and bees. Fun fact: Jerusalem artichoke has an edible tuber that was cultivated by Native Americans. Comes in a 4 inch pot.
