Plains oval sedge is more drought-resistant than most sedges, and is good for sunny gardens. It typically grows 1-3 ft high, preferring full sun and dry conditions. It likes to grow in sandy soils. The green spikelets bloom May-June. This sedge is both deer and rabbit resistant. Comes in a 4 inch pot.
