Common milkweed is a wonderful native plant that can attract butterflies and bees to a garden. Common milkweed grows to be 3-4 ft tall, preferring full sun in dry conditions (sand, loam). The flowers are white and lavender in color and they bloom June - July. Spreads easily, and can become weedy in a home garden. This milkweed is both deer and rabbit resistant.
