Tall thimbleweed is a lovely plant for a native garden. Its thimble-like fruits develop during the summer after the white flowers bloom in June, then transform into cottony tufts during the fall. The plant grows to be 1-2 ft high, preferring full or part sun in dry to average water conditions (sand, loam). Tall thimbleweed is known to be deer resistant. Comes in a 4 inch pot.
