Nodding wild onion is a unique native plant with an aroma similar to an onion. It grows to be 1-2 ft high, preferring full or part sun in average water conditons. It will grow in sand and loam soils. The small pink flower clusters bloom July through August, and face downwards as if nodding. Blooms for a long time, attracting bees and songbirds. Plant in groups for full effect. The plant is also rabbit resistant. Comes in a four inch pot.
